I knit in the summer

A few days ago I started to knit this cowl for the cool winter weather (lets hope we get some this year) in Arizona.

I'm really hoping that it turns out well, and that at the end of this process I will have a new pretty cowl.

Do you knit at all? If so, what's your favorite thing to knit?

i really want to teach myself how to knit, but i'm afraid i dont have the patience or the time! envious of your soon-to-be-cowl though! those are my favorite! i might have to snag one off of etsy for the seasons coming up!

I wish! I need someone to teach me. I've tried to learn from books, but it's difficult. I need to learn in 3-D. : ) Good luck with your cowl!

I actually just finished two cowls last night! They've been a long time coming so I'm glad I finally finished them.

If I could knit I think my favourite thing to knit would be blankets. I'm a *slight* blanket fiend.

Cute! I want to make a couple of infinity scarves (essentially a cowl) for winter starting now (I have MONTHS & MONTHS until it'll be cold enough though). Moss stitch is my favorite, so I'll be making it with that.

I have been knitting tons of washcloths this summer! They are so cute and I love the little pattern I have because it ends up kind of looking like a brick wall! I love all the color combos I can make!

I just finished a pair of cabled socks. I'm starting on a hat for James next.

I've been knitting this summer too. I went to the drive-in last night and I was knitting before the movies started and so many people walked by and then started talking to whoever they were with about knitting. It was kinda funny...

Anyways I've been knitting something for a charity, I'll be talking about it on my blog sometime this week if you want to check it out.
