Reflection

As I sit here, in a hotel room in Westminster, Colorado, I reflected on the happenings, and emotions of the past week.

I don't want to elaborate much, but I have lost a loved one (a greatly loved one) and my family has been in a mourning state. I honestly never expected this to happen (at least not for many years), and I am now grappling with the idea of accepting, and moving forward.

Today my family reflecting, celebrated, and said goodbye, and I am now at the point where I feel it is time for the healing process to begin.

For all of you that have ever lost a loved one, you know what I mean.

I'm usually not this personal on my blog, but I thought I would give a peak into what I've been going through for the last week.

Lastly, tomorrow is a new day, but I will never ever forget today, and will forever remember my uncle in the most loving way.

Promise for a lighter post in the near future.

  5. Aw I hope you're all okay. I don't think you need to feel bad for posting when you're not 100% happy... as the person above said, it's the real you & they're real emotions. <3

  12. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can honestly say that I know, somewhat, how you're feeling right now. My grandfather passed away 5 days ago, so I can relate to the sadness you're feeling. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Let the healing process begin.
