Our main plan was to go to the natural hot springs pool, but before heading off to the pool we decided to venture around town and take in the sights.
The area has really great alley ways, filled with vintage signs and murals that have obviously been long forgotten about (however, I surely adore them).
Also, most buildings in the area are made out of brick, and our perfect for taking pictures in front of.
We also took a lovely walk on the bridge that goes river in Glenwood. It was a little scary being that high up over the river, but the fear was definitely worth the view from the top.
As mentioned, we spent a little time at the natural hot springs pool. The pool, as you can guess, is naturally warm and is super salty as well (darn sulfur). The pool was super busy the day we went, but we certainly had a wonderful time. We lounged by the pool on long beach chairs, shared a banana snow cone, and spent some time in the 103 F degree pool.
We ended our trip with iced passion tea lemonade from Starbucks that was extra refreshing.
Since this trip we've gone on a few more, and I plan on sharing more of our adventures soon.
Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!
