Thursday night Scott and I attended a Diamondbacks VS. Rockies baseball game at Chase Field in downtown Phoenix.
Generally, Scott and I are not much of sports fans, but we thought it would be fun to attend a game and take in the sites. About a month ago we purchased our tickets at Costco, and paid $40 for two tickets, and also $12 in Dbucks that we could use to buy food at the stadium.
Since parking can be kind of hectic near the stadium we opted to park in my parking garage for school a few blocks away and walk to the game. The weather was really nice that evening and it actually felt like fall.
Once we made it to the stadium we picked up our tickets, and made our way in. We soon found out that we were sitting pretty close to the field and had great seats.
After hanging out for a bit and watching the game start, I decided that I was hungry and needed to spend our Dbucks, so we took a walk to the food court area and picked out some chicken strips, french fries, and one very large iced tea.
The game was overall a lot of fun, and we enjoyed talking about the goofy pictures of the players, how fast the balls were going, and how well the Dbacks were doing. We're pretty happy that we went, and now are planning on going to a Suns game when basketball season starts.
