Classic Energy /// Outfit Post

For awhile now I've been itching for an all black ensemble. To me, black is very classic, and chic, and I honestly feel beautiful in it.

The other day I received the most lovely package from We Love Colors and inside, among a few other items, was an amazing pair of sage solid color tights. After seeing them I knew that they would be the perfect accessory to my soon-to-be all black moment.

Cardigan: Gift from my mom
Dress: Target
Boots: BP by Nordstroms

Down the street from my school is an amazing art gallery called the Monorchid, and Scott suggested that day that it would be the perfect place to take the days outfit photos (as my ensemble matched the outside decor of the building so well).

A bird for Chelseabird! The birds on the front side of the building are one of my absolute favorite art pieces in Phoenix.

On the side of the Monorchid is a giant M (one that I'm pretty sure the band The Maine, a local and very popular band, took their logo from), and I just couldn't help but take a few photos with it.

I feel like I really can't say enough about the amazing tights I was wearing. We Love Colors sells durable tights, among other great accessories, in 51 various colors. These tights are very thick, and I just know that they will help me get through the chilly AZ winter with ease.

Have you every checked out We Love Color's tights? What do you think about them?

  1. Cute photoshoot, I love the one where you are really little in front of the giant M. Love your outfit too, especially the dress and boots.

  2. thanks for the link! I'm going to check out those tights!
I found it funny how you said "chilly AZ winter" because I know a lot of people from the area I'm from have winter homes there to escape our brutal Manitoban winters. ;)

  3. Rosie- Thank you so much! I really love that photo as well :]

Holly Sarah- I am SOO excited that you bought two pairs! I know you will love them! Also, that is too funny! It really does get pretty chilly here! I'm used to weather in the 90's and 100's, so when it gets down to the 40's and 30's, I'm freezing! :]

    Megan- Thank you! :]

  8. I always end up missing my old place in downtown phx when I read your posts. :) I missed it especially when I found out there's a Pita Jungle and a new coffee shop 20 steps down the street from it.
