Cider and Brick

I've said this once, and I'll say it again, I am determined to hold onto the last bit of winter here in Phoenix as long as I can. I love everything about winter, cold weather, Christmas time, good food, pretty snow, a wonderful state of mind. However, spring weather has certainly been in and out of Phoenix lately, and before I know it warm coats, and layered cardigans won't be an option anymore.

Cider dress: c/o Shabby Apple; Tights: Target; Flats: Ruby and Bloom

The folks at Shabby Apple were kind enough to send me this lovely dress. The moment I saw it, I instantly fell in love. I just adore the color, shape, and lovely detail on the top. Personally, I first thought of fall when I saw this dress, but then I realized that it's an every season dress, as orange seems to be like a color that can be worn all year long.

I decided to wear this dress to my cousin's bridal shower. I felt elegant, and beautiful in it, and was so ready to celebrate my cousin getting married. It was a lovely evening, and I am so glad that I was able to share it with her.

It really is a perfect twirling dress.

See the pretty purple detail?

Scott and I took these photos in downtown Mesa, on the side of the building that I had guitar lessons in early on in college.

Linton-Milano Music Cener is a true landmark in Mesa, and is somewhere that I am proud to say that I attended. It has been around for over 60 years, and is a place that I am sure most people in the area would say that they have visited a time or two (or ten realistically). They have a wide selection of instruments, and offer all kinds of lessons. One of the Linton boys is even in the band Jimmy Eat World. It truly is a special, and big piece of Mesa history.

Do you have a local music store that you love?
