Summer Project

Do you remember when you were a kid and how you always wanted to have a "summer project"? Whether it be reading so many books, learning to do something you didn't know how to do before, or to become better at something that you already loved. Well, I've decided that this summer I need a summer project. Something that is attainable, and something that I can do on my own.

With that said, I've decided that I really want to work on this little blog of mine. I want to put everything I can into this, and truly let my passion for blogging, photography, and life shine through. I just really want to give this place of mine my all, and be more involved in the blogosphere and surrounding media outlets more than ever. I have a feeling this will be really good for my soul, and will hopefully calm my nerves about being away from home for the summer.

Do you have a summer project? I would love to hear all about it!

I'm off to sip a very large iced coffee and get started on this project of mine!

  2. I'm going to be focusing a lot of time on my photography this summer for sure. I have a big event to photograph next year, my first wedding! eek! So I want to make sure I'm totally ready for it. I've also decided to pick up the ukulele... ya know... for fun!

I'm excited to see what's next for your awesome blog!

Summer projects are great. I miss being a kid and going to summer camp. I've decided to dive into art & crafty endeavors.

  4. I'm right there with Kat^, devoting as much time to my photography as humanly possible! There's something in me trying to get out and I can't hold it back any longer. and of course I'd love to read the stack of books I have calling my name too :P

  5. I like your project. :) I'm hoping to work on my photography. I'm SO wanting to upgrade my DSLR since mine is ancient (and not worth a trade-in apparently), but until then, I want to continue practicing shooting in manual. No more automatic.

Two other goals also include fixing up our bedroom and reading more.

  6. Getting back in gear on my online consignment store octobermoonboutique.com I've gotten really lazy in promoting it and replenishing the stock. So, having just spent the money to keep the hosting company I have to make this site work and be profitable.

  7. I'm going to relearn to sew, try my hand at painting, spend some time at the gym and work on my summer class.

  8. A great summer project! I miss having little things like that to work on during the summer. My mom would always make up little summer mini-projects for me to do while she was at work during the summers, like learn about this or make that. Was always creative and kept me busy while I was off!
