You may have realized that as of late, I have an extreme obsession with bandanas! In large thanks to Madewell for doing this trend so well -- I've found myself not going a day without rocking one of their cotton or silk bandanas tied around my neck. Growing up in the Southwest and spending much of my childhood around small towns and farms in Colorado, I always felt like bandanas were a bit too old school and rustic for me. Nowadays, though, I'm loving this trend and the cool prints + fabrics that have come out with it!
This cotton beauty was the first that I added to my now growing collection! It's easy, nice and breezy and goes with just about everything!
Red floral? Count me in! I love the pop of color this one brings to any style or look!
Succulents and cacti? Yes, please! I love the unexpected color, and how it can brighten up any outfit. I love pairing it with this pink, bell-sleeved sweater, but think it would look great dressed down a bit with a white t-shirt and jeans, or even dressed up a bit more with a white silk top and black jeans!
And there you have it! To me, the bandana is the "it" accessory of the spring! Can you see yourself rocking it? I've now got my eye on a pink, blush-toned silk bandana (non-Madewell -- shocker!), and this colorful, Southwest inspired scarf might be coming to my collection soon! How are you feeling about this trend? Ready to rock it or will you be passing it along until the next time?
